Guest Ratings & Reviews
The hotel is located right at the heart of Canterbury, making it really convenient for exploring the city. The rooms are tastefully decorated, embracing the historical charm of the building, yet some aspects like the TV placement could be improved. The dining experience offers homemade pastries and jams, but restrictions on dining areas may be a drawback. Overall, it's a comfortable stay with great historical features and helpful service.
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The rooms were beautifully quirky, clean, and filled with little home-made touches like warm pastries and toast delivered right to my room. The mini-fridge was a convenient bonus. The location was amazing, just minutes away from the high street and bus station, although there was some road noise. The dining experience was fantastic with a variety of homemade goodies, perfect for a relaxing start to the day. Overall, a wonderful stay with a few minor noise issues.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable with really nice furnishings, but some aspects were poorly planned like the invisible TV from the bed and limited space. The location was great for getting around the center of Canterbury, but there were some drawbacks like the need to draw the blinds due to the view overlooking the beer garden.
